I’ve been going to the gym for several years and decided recently to get a personal trainer so that I could get the most from my workouts. Luke put together a routine for me that perfectly fits my personal goals, fitness level and time I have available to spend at the gym. During our sessions he shows me different exercises, explaining what muscles I’m working and how it will help me, as well as checking that I am using the right technique. He encourages and motivates me, and I know that I push myself harder than if I were putting together a workout for myself. And, of course, the fact that I know I could do it once just pushes me to do it again and again! Since starting to train with Luke, I have noticed a big increase in my strength as well as my cardiovascular fitness and I am much more motivated now that my workout doesn’t stay the same for long periods of time.
